Divisions

Early in this league's history, divisions didn't even exist. Years ago, we decided to spice things up by splitting into 2 divisions, each housing 6 teams. In 2019 & 2020, the divisions ended up so lopsided that approximately half of the playoff bracket consisted of teams with .500 records or worse, while far better teams were left to rot in the consolation bracket.

To change that narrative, our members voted in 2021 to divide into 4 divisions, each housing 3 teams. Divisions would be designated a captain based off of the previous year's final standings (top 4 head the divisions). These captains are notated by the * next to their names. Each of them got to name their division, as well as pick the other 2 players in their division. This new development generated more smack being talked, and new rivalries being formed.
